Film slider

Very nice and unusual demo. Mostly, the effect of movie tape is done via images: they contain the movie frames just because this is much easier for browser. This example demonstrates how to make a very custom slider by yourself.

Google Maps as messages

In this example the messages are replaced with Google Maps pictures of places where the photos were done. Quite a nice way to share the photos with your friends and additionally show them the origin of the shots.

To learn how to make pictures like this see Google Maps API. You should use your own API key to build the maps on your web page. All the maps images are property of Google.

Custom widget

This is an example how messages can be also used: any HTML-code is allowed to be used instead of message. Now there is a nice form shown over a slider.
